01 Reducing plastic
New environmentally-friendly packaging

    For the Tone Up series, we updated the outer packaging and reduced plastic usage by approximately 74% compared to the previous packaging.

  • 2022.02

    We swapped the outer packaging from blister packs to shrink packs, reducing plastic usage
    by approximately 90%.

02 Ocean-friendly formula

Our ocean-friendly formula contains an ingredient*1
that strengthens the sunscreen veil when it comes

likely to wash off into the ocean.

Save the Ocean Tested on coral cultivated in an aquarium

A healthy tank environment was developed to grow coral. We recreated the environment where sunscreen washes off in the water and cultivated the coral there for two weeks. In addition to visual assessment by experts, we performed biochemical assessment to measure photosynthetic activity and verified that SUNCUT® Perfect series sunscreens do not have impact on coral growth.
